Hey everyone, Thursday night is "Dining Out for Wildlife" and there are three South Walton restaurants participating in this 2nd annual event: Cafe 30-A (dinner), Smiling Fish Cafe (lunch) and Enzo's (dinner) with 9 more restaurants throughout Miramar, Destin and Ft. Walton Beach!

This is a fundraiser to benefit local wildlife with a % of that day's proceeds going to the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge, so wherever you are, try to make a point to dine at one of these community-minded establishments! Be sure to tell them you are "Dining Out for Wildlife" so they'll want to participate year after year.
This is a "win/win" for everyone!

The other participating restaurants are:
? Miramar Beach/Destin - Sunset Charlies Coastal Cuisine
? Destin - Graffiti, Dewey Destin Seafood, Mellow Mushroom
and Hooters ? Fort Walton Beach - The Breakfast Place, Anglers Beachside Bar and Grill, and Rick?s Crab Trap

In case you're not familiar with the ECWR, they are a 501(c)3 charity organization, whose mission, with the help of a small dedicated staff, volunteers and sponsors, is to rescue, rehabilitate and release orphaned and injured wildlife. Each year the ECWR provides care and aid to almost 2000 animals from Santa Rosa to Bay County, and provides educational information to the public on Florida's natural fauna.

As a part of the Federal Marine Mammal Stranding Network, the ECWR also responds to all marine strandings, including dolphins, whales, manatees and sea turtles from Walton County to the Alabama state line.
