We had dinner at the new "Vue on 30A" and it was wonderful.

The interior is an amazing transformation to contemporary on the beach, not quite South Beach, which I think is a great thing!

The food was excellent. Our table of 8 shared multiple starter, salads and entree dishes and all were absolutely perfect.

The service was very good, and I will expect will improve as they get even more familiar with the menu, process, and timing. The place filled to their current capacity between 6 and 6:30, so alot was happening very quick.

On Monday 4/4, they open to the general public for lunch and dinner! May you all have meals as wonderful as ours.

How did you get in?
They went with a member or are members. It does not open to the public until April 4th. BTW, I personally don't care for the new format, not that it matters.

Great!

How did you get in?

Also had a great meal there on Saturday. Only open to members for a short period. BTW...NO, and I repeat NO, meatloaf on the dinner menu. I think all of the prior "negative" comments had to be from "Sandor" lovers....:D

Cheap shot on the "Sandor lovers" comment. I don't even know the chef but DID like where the menu was going.

The two "reviews" on this thread are from either members or friends of members....surely no bias towards the old way from them....:sarc:

I'll reserve my opinion on the "new" club after it opens to the public and we start getting unbiased reviews.

Yes, I note, with interest, it was a first post. I, as you, will seek the reviews of those who are not of the "extreme elite" in SoWal before I spend a dime there. Oh, and I am one of those "Sandor lovers" and it only took him one meal to create him.

Sorry if I offended you, groveral. I call 'em as I see 'em. Always have and always will. Its probably the reason I never became a millionaire, politican or general.:D
