OK, here's the scoop.

Kenny's FABULOUS Adventure!
Started out Friday. Drove down to Tampa, picked up my neice and her friend, went to Busch Gardens for a couple of hours. It was my first time! Got a Florida Resident season ticket. Rode "Sheikra" and "Montu" and had a quick tour of park. "Sheikra" is the first of its kind. A roller coaster with TWO 90 degree drops, one from 200 feet straight down! The first one pauses you for about 10 seconds hanging in mid air the you plummet face first into the the abyss....
Then I braved Friday Rush hour traffic in Tampa. Much worse than "Sheikra"! Took an hour and a half to drive 28 miles to Clearwater to go see
LIZA MINELLI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a GRAYT Show! :clap_1: :clap_1:
She looks fantastic! :D
Said she lost 38 lbs with Jennie Craig. Had two hip replacements. And yet she sang, danced, made us laugh. What a class act.
No commentary on current events, nothing political. Just her, singing her classics during the first half, which she ended with "Life is a Cabaret!" and brought down the house, with several standing ovations during the half.
She wore a creamy peachy sequined sack type dress, which she is known for. Matching high heels. Still has the grayt legs, trademark haircut and beauty mark. She looked so good.
After intermission she came out in a black shimmery pants suit, black stilettos. She was joined by four men and the second half was dedicated to Kate Smith. The guys were portraying the Williams Brothers, including a young "Andy Williams". She did all the Kate Smith numbers. She was giving us a sample of a TV program she is finishing up.
She ended the show by coming back with an encore production of New York, New York. She was wearing a black sequined pants suit with sheer pants and again black stillettos. And a black sequined headband. Of course the audience went wild and gave her a 10 minute ovation.
The whole evening she was backed up by a Miami style 12 piece ensemble.
Then came the unexpected....
Read the following slowly, with emotion, and have your Kleenex ready....
She came back out on stage, alone, with just a pinlight spotlight on her face.
She looked up to the heavens, and said, "This one's for you mama..." and sang accapella-
"I'll be seeing you in all the old familiar places...."
There wasn't a dry eye in the house. Everyone was crying and clapping. I was verklempt!
Then the lights came on and people were still cheering and wiping their faces and she was still on stage blowing kisses and bowing, then walked off.
We clapped for several more minutes and people were still crying as they walked to their cars.
I know, I was one of them!:D
She truly is a living legend  and a number one class act.:clap_1: :clap_1: :clap_1:
I spent all day Saturday doing the left hand side of Busch Gardens riding every coaster over and over and over and over and over and over.
Sunday, though I could barely walk, I did the right hand side of the park and did the Shows, and zoo thing. Their show Katumba (sp?) was as grand as The Lion King on Broadway with the singing, dancing, costumes, puppetry, animation. I highly recommend it. Like a mini-broadway production, about 40 minutes long.:clap_1:
Sunday night I made that 5 1/2 hour drive home in about 7.5 hours, stopping and taking cat naps as I was dog tired! :bang:
In fact I'm falling asleep now! I'm going to bed.
