Right here!
Republican leaders in the Sunshine State are fretting that a deal may be in the works to get Democratic nominee Kendrick Meek out of the Florida Senate race in order to boost Charlie Crist's flagging chances of beating Republican Marco Rubio.

Across the state, groups such as Palm Beach Democrats for Crist and Tampa Democrats for Crist are emerging. Republican fears are further stoked by the almost universal acknowledgment that Mr. Meek has almost no chance to win. Statewide polling has his support in the teens and falling. His money coffers are all but dry.

Democrats had hoped that when Mr. Crist abandoned the GOP for an independent run, it would split the Republican vote and propel Mr. Meek into the winner's circle. With four weeks to go, no one believes that now. Mr. Meek, who is African-American, polls strongly only with black voters.

Rumors only of course. With early voting starting in ten days and absentee ballots already mailed, I don't see how they'd be able to get Meek's name off the ballot.

No. Not off the ballot ..completely. I hope he stays on the ballot, as this move will hopefully sway many of Meeks' base in South Florida into voting for Alex Sink for Governor while in the voting booth (instead of the, as yet, unconvicted Medicare felon, Rick Scott).

Good political strategy I say.

I like Meeks a lot, but we all must literally, as a state, do everything we can to prevent this "Jim DeMent Junior", the wet behind the ears Tea Party candidate Rubio, from getting into office, at any costs. The good news is that Rubio is now being abandoned by the Latinos in his state!

Maybe there is a God afterall!

What's interesting is the whisper campaign that Meek is going to lose no matter what and so Rubio detractors should vote for Christ.

This is either a great campaign by Christ or Rubio, but unfortunately for Dems and Meeks it's working. Less intelligent voters are falling for this hook, line, and sinker. In the recent debates (I'm betting turn coats didn't watch it) Meeks did an excellent job and beat Christ and Rubio into the ground.

Another thing for pussycrats (yeah I went there and I'm sober) need to remember is that Meeks is the first and only statewide candidate in Florida history to get on the ballot via petition:

His record is much stronger than Christ and comes without the waffling and self tanner. He has publicly supported gay marriage including supporting it on the record in a statement on the floor of congress.

If you are absolutely determined to throw away your vote then by all means vote for Christ.
