Do you ever just have those "Awwww!" moments?

As I'm surfing the web (sitting on the floor, with my back to the couch and the computer on the coffee table), sweet Layla has her chin on my shoulder and her cold, wet nose shoved in my ear and I'm thinking, "Man. I love this dog!" I mean, sure, she stinks; she's constantly bringing not just sticks, but entire tree limbs, in via the kitchen door; and when she cries, she sounds like a wookie; but I just love the heck out of her!

I'm an animal lover, with three dogs and a cat, so I have a lot of them--but I'm curious... What are some of your "Just so damned sweet, couldn't love 'em more, quick! get a camera" moments?

OMgosh. This is such a beautiful pup. Your Layla's eyes would get me every time.

My awwwwww moments are the same as yours. Its always about our Border collie, Rudy. Mr. JR and I must go awwwwww at least 7 or 8 times a day. He is so lovable and never a mean bone in his body. He could just walk into a room, stop and look at us and we'd go, "awwwwwww."

The other morning when we got up, for some reason during the night, he pulled every sofa cushion and pillow off the sofa in the family room. He wasn't being destructive but everything was just strewn about. It was one of those times we wished he could tell us what made him do it. What was the reason behind it?
