I was cleaning the basement today and I found a treasure. Better than winning the lottery. I think. I found a record I had in college. There's a song on it that I loved loved loved, a ballad about the Titanic. No, it's not a tear jerker. It's hysterically funny, or at least it was when I was in college. I might have been under the influence every time I heard it.
Anyway, this ballad is one of the defining things of my misbegotten youth and I want to listen to it again but it's on vinyl. Does anyone have a record player I can borrow the next time I'm in SoWal?

I found it in its entirety with just a little more sleuthing so it looks like I won't have to find an old record player! If you have 13+ minutes to spare you can listen to it for yourself. It's something the likes of which you don't hear any more.
