Mine does. I've got so much crap going on in my head most of the time, I sometimes wish I could just purge it all and start all over. Half the time, I can't even remember what I'm supposed to remember. Half the time I have no desire to remember.

What tips you got for that, Mermy?

Yes, DD, I agree. Mermy, we need help.

Although I'll have to say that Big D's most brilliant ideas and resulting patents or business models or engineering innovations have come from a cluttered mind which results in a sleepless night. Invariably when that happens, he has an Aha! moment in the middle of the night, gets up, documents his ideas, and then sleeps soundly.

Same for me. My mind is so cluttered that if I didn't put reminders in Outlook, I couldn't function. Also when I've thought of a new and creative project for one of my classes, I of course want to get my solution working before I assign it. Sometimes I have bugs in my code. Even with sleeping pills I can't sleep. Then the solution just comes to me in the night. I run downstairs, change the code, and most of the time it works. If it doesn't, it's a totally sleepless night. :bang:

BR, I understand. I don't have too many brilliant ideas any more. Oh maybe once in a while, but mostly it's just crap up there in my head that I can't seem to push out. Mostly work stuff too though. Ugh.

I have been thinking about learning to meditate so I can turn off all the thoughts when I am trying to relax or sleep.
