VenezuelaDictator Vows To Bring Down U.S. Government

Venezuela government is sole owner of Citgo gasoline company

Venezuela Dictator Hugo Chavez has vowed to bring down the U.S. government. Chavez, president of Venezuela, told a TV audience: "Enough of imperialist aggression; we must tell the world: down with the U.S. empire. We have to bury imperialism this century."

The guest on his television program, beamed across Venezuela, was Cindy Sheehan, the antiwar activist. Chavez recently had as his guest Harry Belafonte, who called President Bush "the greatest terrorist in the world"

Chavez is pushing a socialist revolution and has a close alliance with Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.

Regardless of your feelings about the war in Iraq, the issue here is that we have a socialist dictator vowing to bring down the government of the U.S. And he is using our money to achieve his goal!

The Venezuela government, run by dictator Chavez, is the sole owner of Citgo gas company.
Sales of products at Citgo stations send money back to Chavez to help him in his vow to bring down our government.

Take Action

Please decide that you will not be shopping at a Citgo station. Why should U.S. citizens who love freedom be financing a dictator who has vowed to take down our government?

Very important. Please forward this to your friends and family. Most of them don't know that Citgo is owned by the Venezuela government.

YOU CAN VERIFY THIS ON THE CITGO WEB PAGE.

So please, Diane41453094833, tell us where we should buy our gasoline, and back it up with the reasons why. At least Venezuela grows sugar cane (renewable fuel) to produce ethanol for their fuel source. Would it be better for us to purchase fuel from Exxon or BP, both of which have been too slow on the move to find alternative fuel sources and put them into production?

I am not sure about the truth behind Chavez having poor Cindy Sheehan down for bitter Mojitos, but Citgo is without a doubt selling Venezuelan petroleum. I try to steer clear of Citgo when I can, but that isn't easy in SOWAL. While Exxon, et al certainly have their issues, it makes me sick to think I am sending $$$ to that bombastic thug whose theatrics in New York drew ire from both sides of the aisle.:pissed:

I have been meaning to post a similiar message. Yes, George is not too swift and he has been an incompetent and possibly our WORST president BUT he is our president for better or worse and he does represent our country. He certainly deserves criticism for his wrong-headed policies both domestic and foreign BUT he is the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES and thus deserves respect. A hundred years from now when Hillary, Kerry, Reid , Hastert and Rumsfeld are but footnotes , books will be written about Bush and his times.

BOYCOTT CITGO AND CESAR CHAVEZ !!!!!!!

hey goofer - nice meeting you last night!! I agree with everything you have to say here. except boycotting - which is rarely effective and if it does have any effect it is on the little guy and his job, and his family.

Goofer, yes, Mr. Bush is the current president. i must respectfully disagree with the rest of your statement. in your own post offer that he could be our "WORST president" I cannot with a good conscience offer the man respect. the office of president yes, the current pesident no. His track record speaks volumes about what not to do as president, and his mistakes are innumerable(sp?). I type this without any party affiliation, as i would feel this way regardless of my party. the man can't leave politics soon enough as far as i'm concerned. we have a lot of rebuilding to do...
