It's about to storm! Figures, it hasn't rained in weeks & it waits til Dread
Maybe it will be short-lived.

I'm listening to a radio station online, out of Atlanta, and they are giving storm warnings for Walton County. I forgot that Walton County, Georgia is just a bit east of Atlanta, but it looks like it could storm here any minute.

We had a good thunderstorm earlier in the afternoon. Lasted about an hour with heavy rain and some pea size hail. We sure needed it but it of course does not make up for the fact that we are 12 inches below normal for the year. They say all we got was 1/2" to 3/4" of an inch. Sure rained awfully hard for it to be that little bit.

Walton county is just east of us. We got pounded! Horizontal rain (we needed it badly!), hail, wicked, wicked lightning. Dogs ran for their crates, we pulled up all the blinds and watched. What a great rain though. Our power just came back on. Everything smells sooo good. The poor trees and all of plants look so much better.

GB and RO I hope Dread doesn't get rained out. They'll make you homesick for SoWal. Enjoy!

S1, Dred was great and had a large crowd to play for. Also had some..... we'll just say "enthusiastic" fans. I'll post pics tomorrow, kinda tired now.
