I used to dream of writing the ultimate guide to road food, including local Mom & Pops, "meat-n-three's", and good hippie burrito/veggie restuarants. The key is to arrive hungry in a small town, off the highway preferably. Go to a pay phone with a yellow pages and open the restaurant section. There is always some place listed with a great name like "Bummer's" or "Aint Bee's Feedin Pit" or "Garden of Eatin" or similar. You'll know it the second you see it. It's usually on Main Street. Go there, and if you see bouffants, or old men in plaid shirts just hanging out, you know you've arrived. ;-) I recommend the mac&cheese and green beans as your side dishes. God Bless America!!

Too funny...you just described a little diner not far from me and it's on Main St. I took the kids there and they loved it. I had the turkey dinner. All the old men thought the kids were just so cute. LOL No bouffants though.

Anyone watch Rachel Ray...$40 a day? Not a bad job. I wouldn't want it though...my dream job wouldn't include worrying about my budget!

You probably wouldn't get too far. Unless of course you installed a snorkle on that scooter :D

Well, at the moment, I still have two feet which are capable of taking me many places where a $60,000+ Hummer with snorkel cannot go.:D

Where on your scooter will you put the snorkle? :dunno:

I would not put the snorkel directly on the scooter. Instead, I would put the snorkel in my mouth, and hold in in place by stapping it to my diving mask.

Then how will the scooter breathe under water?:dunno:

Well, I guess I will have to stick with my Birki's. Standing upright, I can breathe pretty easily in 3' of water.
