As I passed Western Lake in Grayton Beach I saw three bald eagles hunting ducks. They are very wary of me and my camera, and they retreated to a nearby pine so I wasn't able to capture the action I'd seen a few moments earlier from my car.
It turned out to be our two resident adults which we've seen in years past, and they have a young, but fully-grown offspring they are teaching to hunt. Perhaps if the young guy had actually gotten a duck in his talons I might have gotten that pic.
