Haven't been to beautiful Sowal in 2 years. We are coming down in late Sept (after all the crowds) and are renting gulf front near the Eastern Lake outlet. Friends were recently in that area and said that the outlet has moved way west and houses west of the outlet have lost parts of their boardwalks and no longer have beach access. They also said the Eastern Lake public beach access is no longer open. i was hoping one of the locals on the forum could provide info and maybe post a photo of that area. I hate to rent gulf front only to find out that I can't access the beach!
