Volleyball is back to a fall sport in Walton County, and at the beginning of school, things move fast! Make sure your student has the sports physical completed as nothing can happen until that paperwork is on file.
Go to http://www.walton.k12.fl.us/schools/ecm/web/Home.html, click on Student Info, and there will be a section with athletic forms to download.

I hope everyone is having a great summer! I wanted to let all of the Volleyball players from last year know personally that Volleyball has been moved back to a Fall sport. Tryouts will be August 12th & 13th from 3:30 until 5pm. Anyone interested in trying out must have a CURRENT SPORTS PHYSICAL ON FILE WITH THE SCHOOL!! Also, there will be a sign up sheet at school on the STINGRAY SPORTS bulletin board located at the East end of the front hallway (going out to the gym). All of the students should know where that is... You must sign up by Thursday August 8th (first day of school) because it takes a lot of time to pull all of the physicals and make a copy.
Start working out now by running, sit-ups, pushups, and bumping with a friend. Competition for the team is very serious business so bring your best self and your knee pads! Also, everyone should have their own volleyball that I would like to see at tryouts after that we will use team balls. If that is a problem please let me know. Our preseason tournament is August 24th so we have a lot of work to do. Feel free to spread the word and if I missed someone please let them know.
