Hello all,
We're down the wire here, and deciding between two nice houses. One is on Pelican Circle near camp creek in Seacrest, the other is directly on 30A right across from the entrance to Sunrise, near Ed Walline's joint.

My Q is: I know this is subjective, but which area has wider (which, in my mind means better) beaches? Does Seacrest have those realllllly high steps to get down to the beach and a short beach with lots of black? What are the beaches like near Walline Park, never been on the beaches that far West....

My idea of the perfect beach is Grayton, but couldn't seem to fill all my needs there for the $ range I'm in -- pet friendly, private pool, etc.

This question seem so petty to me and I am embarassed to be so petty, but the past three years we've been in Grayton and checked out other area's beaches and really felt the beaches in Seaside, Rosemary, were lacking in comparison. However, I realize that things could have drastically changed in a year.

We visited friends at Seacrest at Magnolia Cottages and the beach walkover was very tall and very steep-and narrow.

I was at Ed Walline a few weeks ago to take some family photo's and the beach is reasonably deep there. I also prefer the restaurants and entertainment more in central and west 30A over the further east end of 30A.

By far the deepest beach I've seen on 30A is Grayton. We've consistently found reasonable, nice rentals and good beach conditions in Seagrove Beach. We like Grayton but frankly most of the rentals that aren't too much more expensive than what we've found in Seagrove aren't nearly as nice and up to date. I know many that just want to be near the beach but I want to be in a pretty rental, too!
