For you local SoWallers who did not go- shame shame shame!!!! Eden was beautiful! This will be an annual event for our family. Kate was having a little envy issue since 2 little girls her age were dressed in costumes and part of the tour.
We noticed the light crowd, and were very surprised. The house tour guides were very surprised as well, saying that last year they had 1200 people come through. The donation bowl in the front hallway was looking a little light.
My favorite part of the house was the smell. I love that old house smell, and it was a treat to catch a whiff of it here, since nothing much around here is really that old.
Even if you missed the Christmas tour, go by Eden anyway. The camellias are blooming, and they are having a fabulous plant sale too! I'm going back today!
