“ONE NIGHTSTANDS” – One night stands will be held at Crush Saturdays at2:30 and will last approximately 90 minutes

September 21st–Introduction towine tasting: Learn how the Professionals do it; discover thetechniques to determine the characteristics and quality level ofwines. $45

September 28th-Sexy and SeductivePinot: The most elegant of all reds can provide some of thegreatest depth and complexity. We will look at the various styles ofPinot Noir from throughout the world. $60

Four week course – WINES OF THE GREATNORHTWEST Classes for the course will be held at Crush on Saturdayafternoons at 2:30 and will last approximately 90 minutes $185

October 5th, 12[SUP]th[/SUP], 19[SUP]th[/SUP]and 26th

Week one-White and Sparkling winesof Oregon: Oregon is most well known for its Pinot Gris, withplanted acreage second only to Pinot Noir, However we may surpriseyou with some incredible aromatic varietals such as Riesling andGewurztraminer as well as some wonderful Chardonnay and a few selectincredible Sparkling wine.

Week Two- White and Sparkling winesof Washington: Washington built a reputation on Riesling, yetChardonnay is the King of whites now, with Riesling coming in secondfollowed by Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer.

Week Three-Red wines of Oregon:pinot leads the show with over 60% of all the vineyards in Oregonplanted to Pinot Noir; we will try several from the various subappellations of Willamette as well as some Cabernet Sauvignon andSyrah from Oregon’s warmer appellations.

Week Four-Red wines of Washington:This is what all the recent excitement is about. Though Chardonnayand other whites have made their mark in Washington, the red winesfrom Bordeaux varietals and Syrah have really gotten the attention ofthe wine world. We will taste Reds from several of the subappellations of Washington such as Red Mountain and Walla Walla,identifying some of Washington’s best Grape sources.

November 9th-Wine and foodpairing-Seek a revelation…Learn how the right wine paired withthe right food can produce an experience over shadowing anything thewine or food could have been on their own. $55

November 16th- Wine and Cheese-Youhave these wines with incredible acidity and these cheeses withgenerous richness, but together you can find balance with eachembracing the other. $55
