Am I the only one completely befuddled by this whole hoo.haa. Are there really people of any advanced age who have not had conversations with their family, doctors, lawyers, about their preferences for end of life choices? It really is not that ccmplicated, but you do need to make your wishes known via living will, etc. AARP has good checklist for this issue. It is simply like many things in life, you either deal with it in advance or you leave everything undone to be dumped in the lap of you survivors, caretakers, or shoot, public vote. Chronic denial of death is really NOT a good way to plan your affairs. You will die, hopefully later rather than sooner. This is simply a part of organizing your estate. Sorry, I have held off saying anything for as long as I could. Now go find a real problem to tackle and stop making up problems. With apologies to all offended.
