POSITION: EXPERIENCED BAR PROFESSIONAL
Inspired by coastal cuisine around the world, The Citizen is a seaside tavern located within the town center of Alys Beach, situated along Highway 30A. Here, local and seasonal ingredients drive the inspiration for both the food and beverage program. The fresh and vibrant flavors of The Citizen are showcased in a variety of menu items, offering a nod to coastal, Southern fare for everyone to enjoy.
The Citizen is actively seeking experienced and passionate bar professionals to join the team. For this position, candidates must be able to wear many bar-focused hats and wear them well. Bar professionals are responsible for conceptualizing and preparing creative and unique alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for patrons, possessing a strong understanding of the wine, beer, and spirits industry, interacting and engaging with customers, taking orders, and assessing customer needs and preferences to make appropriate recommendations. Additional responsibilities include restocking and replenishing bar inventory, complying with all food & beverage regulations, and ensuring an excellent guest experience.

Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years of bartending experience; high end restaurant experience is a plus
- References
- Professional certification/education is a plus
