We are a boutique luxury vacation rental property management company currently managing more than 40 properties in and around Rosemary Beach, FL. We are looking for an experienced, high-quality maintenance technician to help us wow our guests and property owners. The job is a full-time hourly position with great benefits and may exceed 40 hours per week during peak seasons. The maintenance technician will report to the maintenance manager with room to grow with the company.
The maintenance technician will be responsible for routine proactive & reactive property maintenance and assisting the maintenance manager with keeping properties under management in excellent condition. You will be provided a vehicle, iPhone, and computer/tablet, as well as any tool & supplies needed to carry out your job responsibilities effectively.

- Perform detailed maintenance inspections of properties on a regular and scheduled basis.
- Keeping track of schedule and details for work orders system.
- Making minor repairs to properties as needed such as lighting, basic HVAC work, plumbing, painting, drywall repairs, carpentry, doors/lock adjustments, and general handyman skills.
- Utilize maintenance application for rental software updates; take pictures of broken items, review work orders, etc.
- Communicate with the operations manager, maintenance manager, housekeeping manager, vendors, contractors, & other team members regarding work order updates/completion.
- Assist with troubleshooting issues that require skilled maintenance or contractor repair.
- Diagnose and repair Audio/Video & WIFI issues.

- Must be teachable and willing to learn - an essential skill
- Must be comfortable communicating effectively with guests, property owners, vendors & team members - an essential skill
- Must be able to work well with others - an essential skill
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be dependable, trustworthy and always on-time
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be available to work on weekends during spring (March-April) and summer (approx. June - August). When necessary, on-call for emergencies.
- Must be comfortable with using software for inventory and inspection purposes
- Basic computer knowledge (Mac preferred)
- Methodical and very detail oriented
- Comfortable working independently and in a high-paced environment
- Have your own reliable transportation and a clean driving record
- Does not require you to have your own tools
- May require a background check and a drug screen
