Fall foliage for desktop

Well, we have the pine needles also. I could do without them! Hope to have some good fall pics next week of the cabin and surrounding area at Chickasaw State Park. Might be a touch of leaf change then I hope! Still up in the air as to getting to even go, unfortunately, doesn't look promising for our trip! Will be out $88 if I have to cancel this late! They show my husband scheduled to work next week and that is supposed to be the week we go on vacation. He turned in his vacation slip in April, 5 months ago. I was so looking forward to this! He is waiting this late to follow up on this, 6 days before we go! I told him last night he needed to check with the supervisor, not the personnel office at his work! And he should have followed up last week! I will be royally ticked if I am sitting at home next week instead of at the state park, while he is at work! Will be a long time before he will be spoken to again. As I am not driving down Highway 100 and going by myself! That is a dangerous highway, a girl from our church died from injuries received in a wreck she had on that highway last November. She was only 18 years old!

LadyD, if my husband were so lacadaisical about an important vacation, I'd say Tough Nuts and go by myself. Although I'm with you about driving on Highway 100. No way would I want to be smushed to a pulp on a back road.

Here, Here Mermy....If I waited on my husband to go on vacation, I would never get to go. I leave him at home and spend a week at the beach and never look back. Take another road, geez, you only live once why wait on someone to make a decision for you. Double plus, he can keep the dog, that he did not want to go anyway.

And another thought, Tennessee is playing Memphis on the 30th. You might want to stay home and cheer them on. This might be a tough game for the Vols. Just a thought!

LadydB, Kathydwells is onto to something here! For a devoted fan like you, surely UT is worth $88? I say blow the pine needles and cuddle on the couch instead. At home. :roll:

Kathy and Mermaid, he said he was planning on going, it's just this area of Bryce he is at now, you cannot depend on them to authorize his vacation. He had filled out the request for vacation back in April over at the previous job, he went over there and picked it up and put it in the box of vacation slips where he is now, this was over a month ago. Obviously, they have ignored his request. And I know, that surely everyone wanting vacation there has surely taken it by now that is going to! As for the UT, Memphis game. I won't miss it. We are coming back the 29th. I will be home for the game that Saturday. It will be a tough game, but Tennessee has beaten them two years in a row.
