We are seeking a Full or Part Time Family Physician, Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner for the following duties:
- Evaluate and treat primary care patients of all ages within the standard of care for Family Practice. Example’s are (but not limited to) preventative medicine, HTN, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, depression/anxiety, asthma, women's healthcare, as well as illness. In-office surgery for lesions, biopsies, lacerations, sebaceous cysts, mole removals, etc.
- Order laboratory and radiology tests and refer patients to specialists when appropriate and called for.
- Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options.
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions.
- Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up-to-date before prescribing medication/treatment.
- Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help to treat the health issue they are experiencing.
- Record complete, timely and legible medical records into our Electronic Health Records system. (Quantum)
- Experience providing primary care in a clinical setting.
- Current Florida Unrestricted Medical License
- Current Florida DEA License
- Board Certified
- 4 day work week (36 hours)
- No weekends
