That was a terrible accident. I was caught in the traffic and it took me over 2 hours to get home. People driving were so mad and I saw many near missed accidents as everyone was jockeying for a closer position.

I hope all will be okay for the ones who were in the accident and prayers for the family of the lady in the Van. The police had a huge area taped off....6 vehicles!

Please drive careful and stay safe!!!!

Terrible accident...one fatality, many lives changed. So Sad for the death of one driver and sad too for the kids in the truck that hit her.
They will be seeing that accident for a long time. :sosad:

It's sad too that people are so impatient. If we find ourselves angry about having to wait in traffic, we should think about that person waiting for someone who's not going to make it home.

So sad. I slipped past this accident just as the first firetruck showed up. Several guys were yanking on the van doors trying to get inside anyway they could. They must have known how bad the lady in the van was.

I got real frustrated by a vehicle with Illinois plates that pulled out into the empty lane cleared making room for the firetruck coming from the West. They got up about a block further than they were and then couldn't get back into the next lane to the right to get back out of the way and so what did they do....they stopped and blocked the way for the firetruck less than a half block from the accident scene. There was no way they couldn't have seen the accident. I saw it from 1/2 mile back. They sat there until others all had to turn their vehicles half sideways in the next lane to make room for their lame attempt to move just a little further through traffic.:bang::bang::pissed:

I kept hoping that firetruck would have used that big bumper to push that idiot right out of the way so they could get to the crash scene.
