It is so sad that public figures who we find incredibly gifted and funny, who seem to be on top of the world, have their demons just like the rest of us. I cannot even begin to comprehend what he must've been going through. His family's statement does remind us all to have the compassion needed for those who suffer.
I didn't know of him either so I certainly missed out. What a well written, brave and informative article by his family. Their love for Richard shines through. My prayers are with his family and friends today.
Does someone have a link to some of his work so I could read it?
Saw him at Gator Growl in Gainesville and all of us were laughing our gator tails off!
