FIRST NOTE MUSIC HALL INTRODUCES FIRST NOTE CAFE AND STRIKES A CHORD WITH SPORTS FANS
New cafe broadcasts sports games and features new breakfast, lunch and dinner menus
"We are grateful that locals and visitors have embraced the First Note Music Hall concept with open arms," said Tommy Jackson, owner and visionary for First Note Music Hall. "We want to continue to be an integral part of this community and opening First Note Cafe was a natural next step. We have worked hard to create menu items that fit with sporting events and fill the need for more high quality, casual dining on 30A."
Each First Note burger starts with a half pound of black angus beef, which is grilled to perfection. The Southern Belle, First Note's signature burger, is topped off with juicy fried green tomato, brown sugar cured bacon and cheese. Other burger choices range from the Big Texas to the DIY, which invites guests to build their own special creation. The mouthwatering burgers are complemented with creamy, classic milkshakes. Flavors range from traditional, including chocolate, vanilla or strawberry, to First Note specialty flavors, such as salted caramel, s'mores, lemon meringue pie and strawberry cheesecake.
Whether it's the SEC Championship Game or NCAA Final Four, First Note Cafe will be playing the big sports match ups from around the country.
"We'll have ESPN playing and subscribe to the big events, unless they're playing on Thursday, Friday or Saturday night," said Jackson. "We'll always be a music hall first and foremost, but we're excited to serve a niche on 30A."
On Thursday through Saturday evenings, First Note Music Hall features a one-of-a-kind musical listening experience. Each night's show presents four or five talented artists from around the country who create an intimate connection with the audience while showcasing their diverse talent. After every four to five songs, a new artist emerges, presenting a new genre. From country to jazz to pop to R&B, a night at First Note takes audiences on an unforgettable musical journey.
"I thought it would be cool if our stage shuffled artists and songs like your iPod," continued Jackson. "And since our performances are live, we have the benefit of artists reappearing on stage for backup vocals and impromptu jam sessions. Each performance is different."
First Note Cafe is also available for private parties. Featuring a full bar and diverse menu options, First Note Cafe can accommodate groups, ranging from 10 to 140.
When asked if there is "shhhhhing" during sports events, Jackson was quick to reply "Absolutely not! We'll be cheering along with you!"
First Note Cafe is open six days a week from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. for breakfast and lunch and reopens at 5:30 p.m. for dinner/performances. Closed Tuesday. For more information visit www.firstnotemusichall.com or call 850-622-0221.
