Thanks for allowing me on the forum. We are coming down in Mid September. We have been going to PCB since 94. First time to SoWal and stating at a rental house in Seacrest. We have two goals. #1 Beach I mean BEACH... #2 oysters and Grouper. Where should we go for the best of both oysters and Grouper. A great atmosphere would be great as well. No CHAINS please, only local seafood.

Thanks and looking forward to staying in your area.

I may add we like to cook at the rental house. How about a fresh market for grouper as well.

If you don't like chains you are coming to the right place. Get your Grouper at Goatfeather's in Seagrove or Shrimper's on 98. There are some really good restaurants near where you are staying.

Come to Edward's on Rosemary Beach, we serve the freshest grouper and snapper as well as amazing baked oysters, crab cakes and much more. Our courtyard dining is wonderful and we have live music Thursday-Saturday nights. Open nightly 5-11 for casual fine dining. No reservations, come as you are. Edwards30a.com

Hurricane Oyster Bar for really good oysters on the half shell. Their happy hour is great and the price on the oysters and beer terrific!

We only eat oysters at Gene's in Panama City -- worth the drive, and off the beaten path. Perfect day trip on a rainy day, when you're looking to get off the beach.
