:sosad: We have a flat panel monitor, a HP vs17 model. Something has gone wrong with the color. We have lost all the black color to the monitor and depending on what website we are on, all we see is red. And looking at the pics on the photo gallery, some of them appear mostly red to us. Does anyone know if this is, like a major problem that cannot be fixed? In other words, better to buy a new monitor! My parents have the same identical monitor hooked to an older computer than ours. This computer is barely over a year old. They have no problem with the monitor color at all. Would love to be able to fix this!!! Very frustrating. Home pages like MSN look fine, I think it is when our screensaver comes up, the screen is mostly red with one thin black line going down through the middle. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Did you try changing your screensaver yet?

I'll try it. Well, not so sure it is a screensaver problem after all. When we boot up the computer we see it also. That is as annoying as a fly! I would have to totally log off and back on to see if it does it upon login. Well, unfortunately, I rebooted the computer and it is totally there upon booting up. Has two black lines going down through the screen. Was there the whole time during boot up.
