Good morning.. I am new to the forum and will be heading down to Seacrest on July 11th adn staying for over a week. While there I would like to do some fishing at Seacrest Beach where we will be staying and was told there is some decent fishing around the middle of July. Can anyone give me some advice on best flies to use and what types of fish will be around during that time. I will most likely fish early morning and late evening when my family allows me to get away !! I was told there are some black tip sharks that run the shallow areas during the evening. Is that correct ? Thanks in advance for the advice.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone fly fishing along the gulf, but why not?

I wouldn't recommend shark fishing, most of them are protected and the families with kids are going to run you off anyway.

Also remember you'll need a fishing license. You can get one almost anywhere including local bait/tackle shops.
