I know someone out there has an issue that needs SGG advice, being the holiday season and all.....so please ask, you will be glad you did. You may have concerns about your boss or how to act at an office party, or even what to wear! Just think, Kitlit, Crazy K and I dressed Bobbysue for the first Soiree. How to make your party a hit, SGG is it!!!!

Dear SGG,

I am having a super chic, smart, and elegant Sowal A-list New Year years Eve Party in our gated community. We plan to party, with a live band, catered, etc.. I know you are supposed to invite the all the neighbors as way to stave off any problems with them calling the cops and complaining....

My fear is if we DO invite them-- what if they show up and actually stay? The last time I invited them over, one neigbor brought their own, rusted glavinized buckets for leftovers, and the other neighbors brought their whole extended, barefooted, hillbilly family.

I need your help SGG!!!

Since I havent been invited I'd say dress down, invite the natives whether old money, new money or no money and keep the guns locked up and the goats out of sight.

Men are over rated, trust me. Break out that bottle of fine tequilla and the rest is not a problem.

SN, next time bring the leftover bucket without the rust. I think my barefooted, ex outlaws left one in my shed, your welcome to borrow it anytime, just leave some leftovers, so get plenty. Thanks for the party heads up, Alpha Crab!! YeeHaw!!

Naw, I'll probably take along a couple of butter bowls (for those less enlightened, used margarine tubs), and the free Gladware that comes with lunch meat. And, the popcorn bucket we swiped from the Rave...and of COURSE all the plastic cups from 20 years of FSU ball games. Plenty of room!

She says people really appreciate it, the convenience, etc. She went out and bought 10, $20 Tom Thumb Gift Cards. I can't put my name on that crap and mail them out!!! help

BeachArk, I think gift cards are for those that have everything and the gifter is clueless what to give. Or, it's convenient for the gifter to buy gift cards because they don't want to shop.

Which brings me to my next question; what would you have purchased for gifts?

I didn't know Tom Thumb had gift cards, I want one!!!

SGG,

I have always struggled trying to understand women. I seem to not really get them. Can you help me understand what makes them tick and why all the drama?

Tallahassee!

Seriously though depending on age if he's younger he'll absolutely love the Defuniak circle. I recommend that he is 6 or under regardless of actual age. ;-)

Dear Pointless:

We don't understand men either. Stop trying to understand and LISTEN. There are more than three words to a sentence. If you listen, then no drama. And to the Drama Queens out there, STOP IT, your giving other women a bad name.

And BobbyJ...you have lived in a household full of women, why the sudden interest to understand them?
