Georgia, it is thought, is a leading indicator on direction of foreclosures nationwide, because its laws are so incredibly lender friendly (ie. lenders can foreclose within 37 days of a default as opposed to drawn out processes in many other states)

There was a quote in that article from someone at Consumer Credit Counseling, I think. Basically, this person said that, incredible as it may sound, they receive calls such as 'Hi, I am at the courthouse. My house is next. Can you help me?'. :shock:
