Let the Bush tax cuts expire. Tax the political contributions (thx Scooterbug). I'm sure there are other opportunities to drive revenues.

P.S. I'm not opposed to cutting spending elsewhere. My central point was that cutting defense should also be on the table (and high up the list).

One way to cut defense spending would be to actually make the contractors build stuff for the price they bid - not 200% more. :roll:

Another would be to not pay them on time for projects behind schedule.
