What is with all these whale shark videos?? And these reports of mannattees at Seacrest??? I think this is just hysterical reporting... I mean, I saw a couple of sandpipers on the beach yesterday. Did I make a big fat video of it? Noooooo! ChillPill saw a snake on her steps last week. Did she photgraph it? I don't think so! This is just funn-mongering!!

I saw a green heron, Lou, the giant blue heron, and the noisy kingfisher.

I have to say I really enjoyed the whale-shark video. It is something I'll watch again. On the other hand, I did see a nice hawk on the large slash pine in my yard next to the lake. I walked out and asked him to please go eat doves or squirrels somewhere else. He is welcome to fish from that tree, but I like to keep a look out for the local nests.
