One of my colleagues, a UGA grad, sent this to me this week, as if UGA has no embarrassing alums.
It came from a UGA fan's blog http://dancingintheendzone.blogspot.com/2009/03/i-just-want-to-gradulate-gator.html which says:
"Earlier this week I saw an excellent speech on the YouTubes by Congresswoman Corrine Brown (D) representing the 3rd District of Florida, in which she 'gradulates her Florida Gators on a superb national championship run. I enjoyed the speech so much, I decided to make a tribute to it, and to the unbeatable Florida Gators, Masters of College Football and Academia, thanks to the incredible work of corch Urban Meyers, Tim Tebow, and Percy Harvey. (See video for explanations of incorrect spelling)."
Let's see, which school is in the top 50 academically (UF) and which isn't (UGA)?

Me, too!
Corrine Brown has been in the U.S. Congress since 1992. She is chair of the Transportation Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines and Hazardous Materials. Obviously she's not from a blueblood family, but she's done well for herself and her family. Her daughter is a lawyer, and she has a master's degree and an Ed.S. from UF.
