I hate to admit it BUT.....I am totally ignorant when it comes to voting for the Supreme Court Justice and all the judges on the District Court of Appeal.

Yes or No answers to the following question:

:dunno:Should the following people be retained in office:

Chief Justice Charles T. Wells
Judge Robert T. Benton
Judge Marguerite H. Davis
Judge Joseph Lewis Jr.
Judge Ricky L Polston
Judge Clay Roberts
Judge William A VanNortwick Jr

:dunno:Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Every time I saw I am going to do this and every time I never get around to it. The political parties are statutorily prohibited from saying anything about those races so I guess that is why I have such little interest. And it is so very important.

My advice on judges and constitutional amendments: Unless you know they are great vote no. The reason on judges: power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. And I believe that if a majority votes no, it just means they have to get elected back to the office next time around. Constitutional amendments are ways to get around the legislature. If its a really good idea, hopefully groups that support it can get legislators to get the proposal passed. I only voted yes on one of the constitutional amendments and no on all the judges.
