Many banks were forced to take loans, even if they didn't need them, so there wouldn't be a run on banks that did. If I looked at everything as short sighted as you do then I never would have made it to September 12th.

I've never said everything's alls right. I have a realistic view that although the housing market isn't still booming and things have slowed in most economic sectors things will come back. If they don't then I'll start farming and responding to your scrawls on telephone polls.

I've got news for you. On many occasions the water in the Gulf in green as well. My "short sightedness" has served my "long term" situation very well, thank you. If you do as well you will be fortunate. It was a long range view that put me and many of my generation where we are. I hope you and your generation do as well but I doubt it. And don't just blame Bush. It started long before him with people like Benjamin Spock and others of his ilk.

I was talking about the sky, not the gulf, guess my point went entirely over your head.

As far as me being fortunate I'm already living at the beach and own several of my own businesses. When did you move to the beach?
