Google Street view of 30a

they must have just added it. I started viewing at the east side of Seaside. Sun was coming up. Hardly any people. A few joggers. Maybe you locals will recognize the people they captured. Seaside post office decorated for Xmas. Followed it to the entrance to Grayton - wouldn't go down that street. (DeFuniak?) Anyway, the new shopping center with the Starbucks has two big nutcracker soldiers guarding the entrance.

What a treat it is to see the bike trail and all the houses and shops on both sides. And the lake with the famous trees in the background.

I know what I'll be doing at my computer when I have a chance to peak.

Great post! As someone who has been frustrated by the difficulty of getting online directions to some of the newer streets and neighborhoods, it is nice to know they realize we exist. :roll:

I, for one, had complained to those responsible for the Google maps that they were way wrong. None of the streets in the neighborhoods surrounding ours in Seagrove were right. It caused great confusion for potential renters because our street didn't exist on maps.google.com.

Now the maps are not only right, but at street view I think you can see me picking my nose in front of our house.

As for our home in Georgia, Google is still wrong on the street addresses. But at least they're close. It's a gorgeous area with beautiful, large homes with acreage, as opposed to being a planned subdivision of McMansions. Very lovely, and I thank the Lord and Big D that I am privileged to live in such a beautiful home.

I saw this the other day. I googled our old house in Montgomery and there it was - it scares me really - that is a bit too much info for me to have out there - My house here is not on the radar - yet!!!

Yea it was cool..but, how often are google maps updated--for real--I looked at my street in zip 32413 and 2 houses that were built 3 or 4 years ago are on empty lots??
