Grayton Seafood Co. is opening soon at Uptown Grayton in Grayton Beach, Florida and is bringing with it everything the small beach town stands for - local, fresh and neighborly. Grayton Seafood Co. owner Kenny Griner is no stranger to successful restaurants. He opened Chet's Seafood in Pace, Florida 25 years ago and has been serving fresh, local seafood ever since while maintaining a loyal following. Kenny has roots in Grayton Beach and has been scouting the area for the "just right" restaurant space for several years. He found that perfect place in Uptown Grayton, signed a lease and began remodeling.
"I want it to have the vibe that it has been around forever. Our logo even says "Since 1890", which is actually when Grayton Beach was founded, but it's fun to play on that. Our motto is Grayt Food and Tall Tales," says Kenny.
Grayton Seafood Co. will serve only Gulf Shrimp and locally sourced seafood. It will always be local and fresh. Kenny insists, "You support your local fisherman and economy by buying local seafood." Kenny also says,
