We recently visited SoWal Beach in February and loved most that we tried.:roll: I did do a lot of research with our favorite board regarding the restaurants in our favorite area. And I have to say you did not steer us wrong.
Our first night was spent at D & K and all I can say is WOW!! I have to say this was my all time favorite. I can't wait to go back and have some of their Barbuque shrimp. We had the best server, Chris. We also met Doug, what a great guy! Can't wait to go back. Do Not leave without trying the Key Lime Pie. Thanks so much Doug and Kat!! We can't wait to come back???
The next morning we went to Flip Flops and met Shea (hope I spelled your name right). We loved it and again can't wait to go back. Although we are hoping to have the Gorgonzola Burger next time but... Shea thanks for a wonderful conversation, great getting to meet you.
Great Southern was our next stop for breakfast. Can't deny they have the best grits, if not tell me and I'm willing to stop and try them. I'm from Omaha, they are nowhere to be found on any menu.
We went to Cafe 30-A one night. The service wonderful, the food fabulous, atmosphere undeniable. Their house dressing was wonderful. Want to thank Casey, our server, for a wonderful night.
Borago was good but not anywhere near our favorite. May have been our mood but much would rather have enjoyed another night at D & K.
We can't wait to come back and try some of the other restaurants available.
