Gulfview Heights Regional Beach Access Upgrades

Beach Operations will host a public meeting at 5 p.m. on Aug. 24 in the South Walton Annex Building at 31 Coastal Centre Drive. Three concepts have been created, and the public is invited to attend and provide input on the designs.

Plans include:

• Increase Parking Capacity

• Resurface Gulfview Heights St.

• Resurface Parking Areas

• Multi-use Path Realignment

• Increase Accessible Parking

• Update Signage & Pavement Markings

• Enhance Beach Tram Stop with Shelter

• Low-speed Vehicle Parking

• Landscape/Hardscape

Construction is anticipated to begin fall 2027.

Walton County Beach Operations will host a Public
Meeting at 5pm on August 24, 2026, in the South Walton Annex Building located
at 31 Coastal Centre Drive in Santa Rosa Beach, to discuss the Gulfview Heights
Regional Beach Access Right-of-Way improvements, and to gather public input
regarding the design and amenities.
