Half marathon training group begins January 4, 2014. Training will include customized weekly schedule developed by a RRCA certified running coach, Wednesday morning track workouts, and Saturday morning long runs. The track workouts will be held at 6 AM in the Santa Rosa Beach area and the long runs will be at 7 AM along 30A. Our goal race is the Blue Angels Rock N Fly (www.runrocknfly.com) in Pensacola on March 29. You should be running at least 3 miles a few times per week to participate in this program. I will customize your paces and increase your mileage safely so you can run a half marathon and have fun doing it! This program is perfect for runners who want to challenge themselves in a group setting while accomplishing their goals. Cost is $120 and includes race registration.
