Happy 50th Birthday Michael Stipe!

I can't even believe it. Just yesterday I was in college and REM played band parties. What a reflective day this is- oh Michael baby, when did we become middle aged?

I used to see him a lot during the year I was at UGA before transferring to GSU. Mike Mills was in two classes with me. The one thing I remember most is that Micheal Stipe always smelled...uh...bad.

Now, he has more money that probably most of us combined, and I bet he still smells!

Yeah, he's got that Vegan hippy thing going on. I think he uses those rock deodorant things that never work. It's kinda odd since he's got some designer soap in the background of this pic:
