Since this is my first post on the message board, let me introduce myself. My name is Brian and I am the Bar Manager at The Beach Club Restaurant and Bar (aka. Santa Rosa Beach Club). Whether you've never stepped foot in The Beach Club or you're a regular, let me give you some information about what we have to offer. We recently welcomed our new general manager, Mr. Nick Watson and, if it's been some time since you've joined us, you may be pleasantly surprised with the many changes that have been implemented in the 2007.
Executive Chef Josh Daugherty and his culinary staff offer the freshest coastal seafood prepared with a special Floribbean flair. Our fish comes to us by way of Destin Harbor and we carry Buckhead beef, the south's finest beef. Our chef's varied background and creativity keep the menu quite lively.
We are open Sunday for brunch from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. From 9:30 until 11:30 our brunch buffet is decidedly breakfast oriented, including made-to-order omelets and belgian waffles. Between 11:30 and 1:30, we add some more brunch/lunch oriented items as well as a carving station with prime rib or roast beef. The price is great and the view, as always, is absolutely unbeatable. We truly offer one of the best brunches in the entire area.
Tuesday through Friday we offer lunch between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and our dinner hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Our lunch menu is brand spankin' new as of this week and our dinner menu changes often, in an effort to keep things fresh and exciting. We hope to have our updated menus posted on our website (www.santarosaclub.com) very soon.
Now for the fun part! We are now offering a happy hour from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the bar! Our happy hour includes half-price house wines, mixed drinks/martinis (anything from Jack Daniels to Grey Goose), and 20+ bottled beers. In addition to being one the only full-service bars in the immediate area and having the best best view you can possibly find, half-price drinks is tough to beat. Beginning in October, we will be offering appetizer specials (most likely half-price as well).
For the most part, Fridays and Saturdays means live entertainment at The Beach Club. Tomorrow evening we feature the music of Wes Heath and Saturday evening we welcome Alan Perkins.
Come check us out and see what you think. I truly believe we have a lot to offer, whether you're just looking for cocktails during sunset, brunch, lunch, or dinner. Reservations are recommended. If you have any questions, give us a call.
p.s. - Smiling JOe, sorry to hear you haven't been impressed with the food. As I said earlier, much has changed at The Beach Club. I'll make you a deal. Make reservations for dinner some night, let me know you're coming in, and dinner's on me! I'm hoping we can change your mind.
