We are in the process of buying a vacation home in Miramar Beach. I grew up in Southern Mississippi / New Jersey and visited the Destin area on many occasions and fell in love. My wife and I are in our 40's and we have two kids under 10. We plan to visit often and to eventually live out our days in SoWal.
