Hello friends! Not a frequet poster...but definitely a frequet lurker! I totally respect and value the opinions and expertise from the regulars and "locals" of SoWal! We've been vacationing in the area for 18+ years...We've got a few houses narrowed down for a week in early June...(normally we take advantage of the "late summer/fall" rates and come in mid'August...but this year June is our the only option for a family vacation)....Any input on location of these homes would be greatly appreciated! We don't want to have to travel too terribly far to the beach since we have a 2-year old grandson with us that is #1 priority  ! Gotta have 4 bedrooms to accommodate 3 families...$2200 is the budget...(big stretch!), but we love Seagrove/Santa Rosa...no other place in the world would be "family vacation" for us  ....Thanks...know you' all will help as you can!

I am uncertain of the location of the last one, but the first two are in the same small neighborhood. There is a community pool at the west end overlooking Oyster Lake. Public Beach Access is directly across the street. No shopping to walk to in that area, and the best restaurant in that area recently burned to the ground (Lake Place). If proximity to the beach is what you are looking for, these two are great. I have not been inside these two homes since they were completed, but I have been inside a couple of the other homes in the small subdivision and they are nice. I am pretty sure they were all built by the same builder about two years ago.

beachma, I really like the look of this one. I don't know this neighborhood, but I can picture where it is based on SJ's description. Looks really nice!
What's your week?

Most likely June 3 - 10...I agree, I like the two in Santa Rosa...The boys love all the plasma TV's in the one in Seagrove...but I don't go to the beach for TV!!! The eating/dining arrangement is also a negative on that one...there's only seating at the dining room table for 4! We eat alot of our meals together...
Thanks for the input. I've gotten a few pm's with leads that I'm checking out.

Garden Dance is on Bel Mar, the narrow lane that connects Eastern Lake Drive to 30A by running through Eastern Lake Nursery. One block west of Summer's Edge/Ryan St.

I haven't been inside it, but they spent months on a renovation that probably borders on complete reconstruction inside and out.

Beach access would be either at Ramsgate or at the new access just west of Melodia Lane. I would expect the street to be quiet, as there are only a handful of houses and no through traffic to speak of.
