Keep an eye on Redtag.com, it is like the biglots of the internet and especially good for catching deals on electronics. I have purchased laptops and desktops and tvs on there and the shipping is only $1.95 on anything and I have never had a problem with any of the items I bought from there.
I forgot to mention that they get new shipments in every 12 hours and the quantities tend to be limited so if you find something good, you kind of need to jump on it because they get gone quick.

I checked out that site Diane and the only real deal currently for laptops is the Aspire One for 224.00. Keep in mind that its a netbook though and doesn't have a cd/dvd drive and its tiny. Its actually what my 10 year old daughter has and it works fine for internet/email and light business work. I picked up hers for 285 on sale at Walmart a while ago. If they refresh their product every 12 hours, who knows what will pop up though. Good hunting

As I mentioned, they get in new shipments every 12 hours so you should check twice a day to see what may come in. There are plenty of times that they get shipments of laptops in at good prices.

A guy at my work ck'd it out yesterday and can only tell me, this. He searched online the "errors", indicating on the computer. They are over heating errors, not sure why. I'll be doing something on it and it'll just crash!
Then, it'll reboot and keep going. 
He also suggested that I run "updates, which I have. Any suggestions?

I would recommend a reinstall of Windows. If the machine is actually overheating, it could have a bad fan, or the thermal paste on the processor may need to be replaced.
