Hi, Sorry in advance for bursting into your forum here and request some quick responses. We are trying to book our flight today before it goes back up and are lost. We thought we wanted to stay in Destin, but after learning more, it seems that area is much too busy for what we are looking for. I heard about the 30A area and it seems perfect.

We have a 3 year old and really want something right on the beach with a kitchen. We would prefer 2 bedrooms and a pool. We are hoping to find a place about $125 per night so that we can stay for around 10 nights. We are thinking May 4th- 15th. Am I asking too much? Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks!

you might be able to stiff arm somebody but i highly doubt you'll get anything that cheap. after you throw in 11.5% tax and cleaning fee you're proably looking at a min of $165-$175 a night. starting may 22nd the min you'd get is $200 an night all in.

Thanks Ray. That price would work. If you or anyone else has suggestions for places to stay, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks.

Seagrove Villa Motel

At the risk of revealing the prime budget down-time spot that only the Elite know and use, check out the Seagrove Villa Motel calender...if you stay, you'll probably be hooked for life.
Loan me a few million for the down-payment and Ill buy it and let you stay on the house.

Thanks for this! I checked it out and it looks lovely and well priced. The units that have been remodeled of course are booked for my time frame...and the outdated units...it is not possible to see pictures of the inside before renting. If we don't find anything prior to leaving for our nights though, I am definitely going to stop in and see what it is like. :) Thanks for putting the recommendation out there!

For a price close to $125+/night I'd go to vrbo and check out the Gulf Place Caribbeans. You can get 2 BRs with hall bunks, and though not right on the beach are about as close as you can get for the $$ and directly across 30A with gulf views.

Thanks everyone for the advice! Here is my UDPATE- We booked a place on Crystal Beach because I couldn't find anything in this price range along 30A. I would still like to know if anyone has recommendations for a gulf front location with pool along 30A for around $165 per night for future reference. That way when we go, we could stop in and check out a few places. :) Anything to avoid all this research for next week! Thanks for any recommendations!
