We didn't get much of anything in Montgomery. Just a buncha leaves everywhere. We got lucky this time. My folks live in B'Ham and they have no power. Dad had one of those fancy generators installed last week. Guess he's putting that baby to use!
Hoping someone can advise us.
Our original plans are: Driving from Nashville on Saturday 9/03 for AU game, then booked into Montgomery hotel Sat. night. Then down 331 to Seagrove for 3-4 nights (meetings scheduled with contractor/vendors on the house we're building there...they are needing us to make some quick decisions on various things....currently about 60% complete).
We do not want to get in the way of those truly needing help nor do we want to use a hotel in Montgomery that is needed by someone who has no other place. I could call the hotel in Montgomery for a status on this, but knew someone here could give me a good reality check with this.
Also, we will be booking a small place somewhere on 30A for 3-4 nights this trip....which we don't think would be inconveniencing anyone, but please set me straight if I am wrong.

If there are vacancies at this point they will want to fill them. Most people really want to rent their places after a storm...they may not rent again for a while.pk305 said:
