A dedicated left turn lane is being added when approaching 98 from the south and a dedicated right turn lane when approaching 98 from the north.

1) Work Task Order for Design and Permitting Services will be brought to the BCC for approval on the April 8th BCC Meeting. Notice to Proceed will follow.
2) 60 days from notice to proceed. Design Plans, Specifications, and Engineering Cost Estimate for review.
3) 90 days from notice to proceed. Submit to FDOT and or NWFWMD for permitting
4) 120 days from notice to proceed. Contract Intake Meeting. Projects will be advertised for construction bids for 30 days
5) 120 days from notice to proceed. Provide Bid Documents, final signed and sealed construction plans, specs, and all final permits necessary for construction.
6) 150 days from notice to proceed bids will be due.
7) Construction Bids will be brought to the next available BCC for award.
8) Work would generally begin 2-3 weeks after Bid is awarded.
9) We anticipate 30-60 days for construction activities to be completed.
This is a general timeline and we will take every opportunity available to expedite this project if possible. With this schedule in place it looks as if this project should be nearing completed in the by the end of the calendar year.
