We have a network of friends with weekly rentals, and this is a recent email conversation with a potential renter. He was being honest, but I'd sure hate to be the owner of the party house.
Rental Inquirer:
Desired Date: March 15-22
# in Party: 15 adults
I am looking for a spring break vacation home, I am in charge of a very responsible group of students from a small Baptist school in Alabama and your property would be a secondary house for living space. We will be out of the house every night and there would be no guests or parties, guaranteed. We are willing to pay additional damage deposits due to our age but my group is not your average college group. Very Responsible.
Response:
Where would you be every night that you would be "out of the house" every night?
Rental Inquirer:
There is another group of Samford students who have rented a low-end house and they are going to be the designated "party house." This is to ensure that nothing happens to your house. I had an incident with another group in the past and I will not let anything happen again.
