How are new Leeward condos?

I haven't been to sowal since 2005. We stayed at the Leward II building then. The Leward I building was condemmed and was demolished when we were there. I see it has finally been rebuilt. Does anyone have any comments on the new building? Would like to stay in the same area either Leeward I, II, or Eastern Shores. Thanks for any info you can provide as we are in Pennsylvania which is a long way to try to look at something.

They are literally just finished - I saw them moving in furnishings just a couple of weeks ago. I don't know anything about rental contacts, nor do I know anyone who has stayed there.

There are about 20 houses on Chelsea Loop, just behind Leeward. Most were finished in 2004-5-6, so you might not have seen them all. Nice places, and popular. Beachfront, just near Leeward, there are rental houses, too - Kokomo, Beach Baby, and a couple more to the west, whose names currently escape me.

Leeward I is very nice! I am doing some window treatments in a rental unit this week for my client!

I agree with Steven, LeewardII and Leeward are SUPER CUTE units. I prefer the first floor units for the awesome decks on the ground floor. PM me for the number of the owner of Leeward II # 2 super great unit and willing to make a deal.

I agree with Brandy, Leeward II #2 is very nice. My husband did a complete renovation and it now has a full kitchen. Great place and great owners. You can also purchase the unit!

Leeward I

Thanks everyone for your comments. We have booked the month of Nov 2011 at the new Leeward I building. It is brand new and looks great. Can't wait to walk on the white sands of sowal again. It's been way too long.
