No problem getting gasoline once we got north of I-10 on the way back to GA. They were lined up in Freeport.
I know the locals are glad we're all gone so that once the gas pumps get refilled, they can buy gas in order to go to work and take their kids to school. I have a feeling that some out-of-towners unnecessarily topped off their tanks in SoWal at the inconvenience of the locals who can't buy gas in Dothan or wherever. I resisted the urge to do so.
